I am pleased to announce our June 1 Suncoast meeting, “Latest Trends, Tools, Must-Have-Information, and STC International News from the Annual STC Conference,” featuring a panel discussion including Mark Hanigan, Joan Baptist, Kathy Robbins, and Pam Treme.
If we wanted to, we could offer free blog hosting for chapter members. It would be installed in a separate folder and the domain would be something like stc-suncoast/org/johndoe. Would anyone be interested in this?
I’ve run into a couple of other chapters that now feature blogs.

One requirement for a successful blog, so I’ve read, is to publish frequent, interesting content. When I started this blog, I thought more members would be interested in publishing their thoughts and ideas about technical writing. But it seems I misjudged something. I have several theories, which I’ve listed below.

I am hoping someone will summarize the content management presentation that is being given tomorrow night. I can’t be there due to a conflict (my daughter’s open house for her broadcasting/journalism school is that night).
We are in the process of creating a new CD with all of our documentation on it. We would like to have an outside firm design the user interface–something creative, maybe incoporating a short flash segment.
