Logo design started for FTCC

Many other members are involved in the FTCC (Florida Technical Communication Competition). It’s open to all chapters in Florida, and has several categories of competition. This year we’re hoping to get a lot more entrants than last year. It generates a lot of buzz and excitement.
Last I heard, the committee was still looking for competition judges. Mark Hanigan said this would require maybe a day and a half of your time. I am definitely signing up for it this year — reason being, you get to sharpen your ability to differentiate good tech writing from excellent tech writing. You go through a judge’s workshop that teaches you what to look for, the nuances and the gradations of quality, etc. If you would like to be a judge this year, contact me or Mark Hanigan.
