August 3 Meeting: Ian Koss on Online Content Management, Near Universal Access & Distribution

Jul 24th, 2006 | By Tom Johnson | Category: Meetings

I’m pleased to announce that Ian Koss, founder of Ink19, will be the speaker at our next chapter meeting. Here’s the description of his presentation:

The online world provides near-universal access and distribution in a way that print and other traditional mediums can only dream of. At the same time, it also comes with a unique set of challenges and requirements, driven by the very nature of this medium. In this presentation, Ian Koss explores some of these issues and examines several approaches to maximizing the use of this channel and properly addressing its audience.

Ian Koss is a founder of Ink 19, a music magazine that has been in publication since 1991. Ink 19 has been on the web since 1997, and transitioned to a fully-online format in 2001. In addition to his publishing experience, Mr. Koss has been consulting in online content management for over 10 years.
