We’re having an admin/leadership meeting on Sep 9. Everyone in the chapter is invited. If you are thinking of getting more involved in the chapter, this would be a good meeting to attend.

Admin/Leadership Meeting
Time: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Sep 9, 2006
Location: 8406 Benjamin Rd, Suite J, Tampa FL 33634
Directions: From Veterans Expressway going North, take Waters exit, turn right onto Waters Ave, get in left lane, take a left at first light (Benjamin Rd) into office park. Go to stop sign, take a left, take first left into parking lot, then take a right. It is the last door. Nextteq is above door.
Items to cover in meeting:

• Evaluate progress on awards track and plan for unfinished requirements
• Plan upcoming presentations for monthly meetings
• Plan upcoming workshops for the chapter
• Finalize plans for Documentation Show and Tell night
• Discuss positions that need to be filled in chapter, such as program recruitment
• Discuss recruiting and PR strategies for the chapter
• Discuss what members’ needs are and determine ways to meet them
• Determine questions for chapter member survey
• Determine meeting regularity for admin/leadership team
• Explore podcasting possibilities for our chapter and equipment purchases
• Pin down a date for the upcoming strategic planning meeting with WC. Wiesce
• Receive update on the progress of the FTCC in promoting the competition
• Discuss strategic plan for chapter and update to the bylaws
• Create a calendar of events

That looks like a lot, but we don’t have to cover it all. We’ll get through as much as possible. These items are ordered in priority from top to bottom.
