Collecting Tech Writer Blogs

Sep 6th, 2006 | By Tom Johnson | Category: News

I’m collecting a list of technical writer blogs. You can view them here: http://stc-suncoast.org/tech-writer-blogs. If you come across a blog that you think is interesting, can you let me know so that I can add it here?

Wouldn’t it be awesome to compile a feed of all of these blogs? That way you can centralize all of your information into one firehose of information. Feeddigest allows you to do this, but you are restricted on the number of feeds you can compile into one. Of course newsreaders do exactly this, but for some reason not many people use newsreaders. I have Feeddemon, but I find I can barely get through my email at night. Still, when I do read through blogs, I love learning facts here and there.

  1. Your list says “STC Atlanta Chapter Newsblog,” but it’s really the Austin chapter, isn’t it?

    Here are a few more:

    Smart TechWriting

    Darren Barefoot
    http://www.darrenbarefoot.com/
Technical writer who blogs about all sorts of stuff

    Will Kelly

  2. Thanks for the links. I added them to the page of blogs (http://stc-suncoast.org/tech-writer-blogs).

I also changed Atlanta to Austin. I must have had Atlanta on my mind because your blog is the one right before it. Thanks for catching that.
