We had an impressive turnout from our chapter at the STC Summit. I learned that in fact we had 17 members attend. Names of those who attended are below.

For our September 6 chapter meeting, Jack Molisani will be presenting on the “Top 10 Mistakes Writers Make Looking for Work.”

Our August 2 chapter meeting will cover online simulations and instructional design. Specifically, John Sopchak and Wendy Passman from Kaplan IT/STT will conduct a presentation and demo of STT Trainer. [Note: Martha Schrader, a member in our chapter, tells me that this software, though expensive, is totally mind-blowing.]

I’m pleased to announce our July chapter meeting on Unified Modeling Language Artifacts, to be presented by Mark Hanigan and Cindy Skawinksi. They originally gave this presentation at the national STC Summit in Minneapolis last month.
