HSN.com is a top 30 Ecommerce retailer and HSN TV is syndicated into 90M+ homes. We are looking for an Associate Product Manager to join our Ecommerce team. The Associate Product Manager will manage the development of front-end web applications (i.e. Search, Checkout, and Wish list) and perform ongoing site analysis to make recommendations on how to improve HSN.com.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in and lead brainstorms, generate ideas, and create an environment of active collaboration where all groups, including content, merchandising, production, technology, operations, and finance are empowered participants in the product development process.
• Work with senior product managers to develop strategy and champion the project across the company.
• Write detailed functional specs.
• Develop Visio wire-frames.
• Develop user-testing materials and manage multiple rounds of user testing (working with an outside firm or moderator).
• During development, negotiate scope and proactively address problems.
• Work closely with Technology/QA to ensure smooth feature rollout.
• Create training materials and train internal users.
• Perform ongoing analysis of site features and traffic patterns.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
• 3 years of work experience in the Internet or a related technology field.
• 1 - 2 years of Project Management experience.
• 2 years of programming or technical design experience.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Knowledgeable about the Web and comfortable with technology.
• Experience with Excel, Word, Power Point, Visio, and Microsoft Project.
• Creative Thinker.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Adaptable, pragmatic problem solver.
• Willing to dive into any project, big or small.
