On a whim, I decided to drop in over at USF to check out BarCamp Tampa Bay. After about 20 minutes, I wished I had called some of you guys to come along.

I was in a presentation by Stan Schultes of Microsoft about the open source projects that Microsoft is involved in. When I raised my hand to ask how all these projects were getting documented for the end user, it turns out that the audience of developers was quite enthused to find a tech writer in their midst, including the other Microsoft reps in attendance. There is a need for us on local projects. I handed out my card to several people working on said projects. I also encouraged them to post to this site.
