Public Relation Team’s Duties (Bylaws)

  • Plan and develop publicity for the Chapter and its activities
  • Prepare and disseminate press releases and other publicity-oriented material as directed by the Administrative Council
  • Maintain liaison with local businesses and industries so that our presence will be known to local employers
  • Foster and maintain a mutually supportive relationship with other Florida chapters and with local chapters of other professional societies
  • (Leader) Write a post for the blog at least once during the year to let the members know what public relations avenues are being pursued
  • Produce and mail a monthly flyer providing details about the next Chapter meeting. This flyer should reach the membership at least one week prior to the date of the meeting it describes
