I’m relocating out of state this month and must pass on the position of president to my trusted vice president. The new chapter leadership will be as follows:
This Thursday, August 2, the topic of our Suncoast chapter meeting is online simulations and instructional design. John Sopchak and Wendy Passman from Kaplan IT/STT will conduct a presentation and demo of STT Trainer.
For all of you who don’t receive this, I’m forwarding it on. One of the articles is by Mike Murray, who is a member of our chapter (as well as Orlando’s).
I’ve added a new design for the site to make it easier to find content. The previous site’s page menu was a little hidden; this time the shaded sidebar menu shows child pages relevant to the page you’re viewing. We had an impressive turnout from our chapter at the STC Summit. I learned that in fact we had 17 members attend. Names of those who attended are below.

I received the following information about the Leadership Community Resource site, which is now up and running. I’m passing on the information here from Jackie Damrau.
As you know, WriteUp used to be our regular, bimonthly chapter newsletter several years ago. But it was abandoned due to the time and energy it took to create. Then we switched to the chapter blog for a real-time news source. However, many members don’t keep up to date on the latest posts.
