FTCC|Florida Technical Communication Competition

Would you like to be a part of the Florida Technical Communication Competition (FTCC) judging process?

Judging offers an excellent opportunity to review some of the best work being done in our state and learn in the process.

We are looking for judges at all experience levels, from the veteran who looks forward to being a senior contributor or team lead, to the first-time judge. Each team has three judges, so a new judge is sure to be teamed with at least one experienced judge.

Judging requires an estimated 6 to 8 hours of your time during the judging period from October 1 thru November 13, 2010. Individual judging is completed on your schedule. The team consensus judging (at the end of the individual judging) is completed at a time agreed on by your judging team.

An added benefit to judging in the FTCC (or any local competition) is the experience you will add to your credentials if you wish to judge in a future STC international competition.

To submit your name as a judge-candidate, please download, complete and return the Judges Application Form (.doc) to the Competition Manager. Applications are accepted from August 1 to September 15, 2010.
