Call for Judges

Would you like to be a part of the Florida Technical Communication (FTCC) judging process?  This offers an excellent opportunity to evaluate some of the best work being done in our state, to provide constructive feedback, and to learn from the process.
 
We are looking for judges at all experience levels — from the veteran who looks forward to being a senior contributor or even a team lead to the first-time judge. As each team has three judges, a new judge can be sure that she or he will be teamed with at least one experienced judge.
 
The commitment is in the neighborhood of 6 to 8 hours, spread over a period from approximately November 1 through December 1. Individual judging is completed on your schedule. The team consensus judging (at the end of the process) is completed at a time set by your judging team.
 
An added benefit to judging in the FTCC (or any local competition) is that you gain experience to add to your credentials if you want to apply to be judge in one of the STC international competitions in a future year.
