Competition Structure

STC’s competitions recognize and encourage excellence in online communication, technical art, and technical publications. STC offers two levels of competition:

• Local and regional competitions, of which the FTCC is one
• The international competitions

The international competitions—the International Online Communication Competition (IOCC) and the International Technical Publications Competition (ITPC). Winners of an FTCC Distinguished Technical Communication (DTC) award in each category are submitted automatically to the appropriate international competition.
